1. National Seminar on Cybercrime, Cyber Security & Cyber Laws: Issues & Challenges on 5th & 6th January 5, 2019
Shri Vaishnav Institute of Law organized the National Seminar on Cybercrime, Cyber Security & Cyber Laws: Issues & Challenges on 5th & 6th January 5, 2019 at the campus. The Chief Guest of the inaugural function was Retd. Chief Justice V. D. Gyani Ji (Acting) Gauhati High Court, Assam. Mr. Rakshit Ji Tandon, Director Executive- Council of Information Security & Consultant- Internet & Mobile Association of India, Keynote speaker of the Seminar emphasized that such programme is highly benefited for young generation. The seminar was also addressed by Shri Jitendra Singh, Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Indore and Prof. Dr. Vijaykumar Ramkrishna Chowbe & Prof. Dr. Silla Ramsunder as resource persons.
2. Inauguration of e- newsletter
It was an honour to introduce “SVIL e- newsletter”. It is a bi-annual newsletter published by Shri Vaishnav Institute of Law, Indore. “SVIL e- newsletter” was inaugurated by Retd. Chief Justice V. D. Gyani Ji, Mr. Rakshit Ji Tandon, Shri Jitendra Singh, Prof. Dr. Silla Ramsunder, Prof. Dr. Vijaykumar Ramkrishna Chowbe, Shri Purushottam Das ji Pasar, Shri Girdhar Gopal Ji Nagar & Shri Vishnu Ji Pasari.
3. Rashtrya Yuva Diwas
On 12th Jan 2019 occasion Speech & Rangoli competitions were organized.
4. Moot court Competition
The Moot Court competition was organized on 21st Jan, 2019 in a unique manner to provide practical learning skill to the students to evince an interest in the subject so that the Consumer Protection & Family Law would grow. The competition was inaugurated by Shri Shri Vrindavanlal Jha Ji, Retd. District Judge. The problem for the Moot Court was challenging and pertained to complex issues of Consumer protection law, anti-corruption law & family law. Each team submitted written submissions, memorials on behalf of both the petitioners as well as the respondents.
5. Video conferencing on Security Law
The video conferencing was held on 25th January 2019. Prof. Dr. Anand Shrivas, National Law Institute University, Bombay addressed the students, faculties on the topic “ Security Law”.
6. 70th Republic Day
The 70th Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2019. the flag was hoisted by Shri Girdhar Gopal Ji Nagar, Chairman SVIL with the Director sir, faculties, staff members & students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honour and integrity of the nation. The choir group presented the patriotic song “ yeh mere watan ke logon”.
7. International women’s Day
International women’s Day was celebrated in the Institute on 8th March 2019.
8. Industrial Visit
Students of BBALLB – II, IV & VI Sem (Total: 75) visited ‘Safexpress Logistics Park, Maglia, Indore’ on date 23 May 2019.
9. National Conference Organized on “Current Trends in Intellectual Property Rights: Issues and
Challenges”.
National Conference Organized on “Current Trends in Intellectual Property Rights: Issues and Challenges”. In this conference Chief-Gust was Honorable Ms. Justice Pratibha M.Singh, Judge, High Court of Delhi & Chief- Speakers were Dr. S.S. Singh, Deputy Controller of Patent & Designs, Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trademarks ,Delhi & Mr. R.P.Yadav, Senior Patent & Trade Mark Attorney, Managing Partner, sr4ipr Partners, New Delhi On this Occasion Shri Purusottam Das Ji Pasar, Chancellor, SVVV, Dr. Upendir Dhar, Vice-chancellor, SVVV, Shri Girdhar Gopal Ji Nagar, Chairman SVIL, Shri Devendra Kumar Ji Muchhal, Vice-Chairman,SVIL, Shri Vishnu Ji Pasari, Secretary,SVIL and Other Trustees were present.
10. World Environmental Day on 5th June,2019
World Environmental Day organized in SVIL, In this occasion Prof.Dr.Binayak Patnaik told about the Environment and aware for future problem from negligence of environment.
11. International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2019
International Yoga Day organized on 21st June in the institute. As per the Government notification, Director Sir, HOD madam and all faculty, staff & student done yoga.
12. Plantation Programme
0n 5th July 2019 Plantation is organized in SVIL by NSS Unit. On this occasion Prof. Dr. Binayak Patnaik, Director, Dr. Deepika Bhatnagar, HOD, Staff Member and students Planted the plants in College Campus.
13. Free Legal Aid
Free Legal Aid is provided to the community people by Mr. K.C. Manama Ji, Retd. District Judge, on Property, Family & other legal problems at SVIL and 08 community people took the benefit of this programme on 20th July 2019.
14. 72th Republic Day

15. Run for Unity was organized by NSS on 20th August 2019.
16. On 31st August 2019 Orientation Ceremony was conducted by Shri Vaishnava Institute of Law for the new batch of BALLB, BBALLB, LLB and LLM 2019.
17. On 2nd September 2019 Ganesh Pujan was organized on this occasion.
18. On 5th September 2019 Teacher’s Day was celebrated by the teachers, staffs and students of SVIL.
19. On 21st September 2019 inter college debate competition was held in the institute on the topic Hindi bhasha ka vidhi ke kshetra me mahatva.
20. On 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in the institute.
21. On 3rd October 2019 Shok Sabha of Late Assit. Prof. Arpit Khare conducted in the institute.
22. On 5th October 2019 inter college Moot Court Competition was organized in the institute.
23. Extension lecture programme was organized on Judicial Activism which was graced by Prof Dr. Vijaya Kumar, VC, NLIU Bhopal on 12th October 2019.
24. Health awareness programme was held on 15th October 2019 in the institute which was graced by Dr. Sudhir Khetawat.
